This morning, Palmer Basket Mallorca presented its candidacy at the Spanish Basketball Federation (FEB) to host the promotion phase to LEB Plata that will take place from May 11th to 14th.
The Mallorcan team has submitted all the required documentation with the Municipal Sports Center of Llucmajor as the venue for all official competition matches, along with a value proposal designed with the team specifically for the event so that both teams and fans can enjoy a unique and first-rate experience.
The club wants to emphasize "the energy generated by the possibility of enjoying this phase on the island" and that they seek for these days to be "a time to continue living a basketball atmosphere in Llucmajor and throughout the island."
In addition, they have publicly expressed their gratitude to the Llucmajor City Council as well as all the club's sponsors and collaborators for their collaboration in presenting such a complete and high-level candidacy that deserves an event of these dimensions.
In the candidacy presentation, in addition to a promotion phase proposal designed for participating teams to have everything they need to compete at their best in pursuit of promotion to LEB Plata, different basketball promotion activities are also planned, seeking for Llucmajor to become the basketball capital for a few days.
Now, after the presentation of candidacies, the FEB has a few days to evaluate the different proposals before announcing which venue will be in charge of organizing the event that grants access to the third category of the national basketball league.
